1.act as 担任……职务，起……作用

1.break away from … 脱离……，奋力挣脱……

例句： The thief broke away from the police, but was later caught.

2.break down 出故障，坏掉，中止，累垮，分解

例句：If you keep on working like that, you’ll break down sooner or later.

3.break in 打断，插话，闯入，强行进入

4.break into … 闯入……，破门而入
